Our Story

Walt Disney once said, “It all started with a mouse.” Well, for us it all started with a frog. We met as students at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. We’d walk with friends from our dorm through the pine barrens to our classes. Chris had a major crush on Liz, but Liz had no idea. Thankfully, the opportunity for Chris to show Liz how he felt came bouncing across our path one warm September day. Chris knew that Liz loved animals and was majoring in environmental science, so he didn’t pass up the chance to go bounding into a bush to gently capture a frog hopping across our feet. He emerged from the shrubbery muddy, which only made her already beaming smile larger.

After that moment we started our journey to becoming best friends and partners for life. We’ve had our ups and downs and many challenges in life, but for two decades we’ve never left each other’s sides.

Our first trip together was to Walt Disney World. We returned many times over the years, became Disney Vacation Club members, and even became pregnant with our amazing son on a Disney vacation. When it came time to make wedding plans, of course we had to get married at the Happiest Place on Earth! We can’t wait to celebrate our love with everyone on September 13, 2022 (three days before the 20th anniversary of meeting each other!).
